Services for James C. "J.C."
Williams are 10 a.m. today at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Mr.
Williams, 72, of New Castle died unexpectedly Friday in Henry
County Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a 1950 graduate of Knightstown High School. He retired from Delco Remy in 1988. He was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Minor Hill, Tenn., a son of Fisher and Desdia Cotrel Williams. He is survived by his wife, the former Sherlie Smith, whom he married Aug. 1, 1962; a brother, Eugene Presley Williams of Middletown; and a half brother, Dean Williams of Knightstown. He was preceded in death by his parents; his half sister, Modjeski King; and half-brother, Dave Williams. Phil Morgan will officiate today's service. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. April 19, 2002 |
